St.Helens' people are undoubtedly proud and passionate, and with good reason, given the wealth of the Borough’s assets, attributes, and claims to fame.
This theme is based on the widely accepted premise that word of mouth is the best form of advertising, and that local people make the best ambassadors for their own locality. Its aim is to unlock this often-muted sense of deep-felt local pride, by highlighting genuine and remarkable reasons to be Proud of St.Helens – POSH for short! Some of these things will be well-known already, some of them not so...
The theme will be delivered by two parallel campaigns. One simply packaging together facts about which to Be POSH!; the other featuring both St.Helens born celebrities as well as ordinary local people who are nonetheless extra-ordinary in terms of their achievements and activities.
